Designed and built the entire product from scratch. I also handle onboarding and support for all customers.
Since it’s my own project, I’ve learned a lot by intentionally over-engineering things in the pursuit of pushing both Nuxt and Laravel to their limits.
Improved the developer experience for client-facing apps by migrating Webpack projects to Vite, building a TypeScript SDK for our internal API.
Also built our design system from the ground up—focused on accessibility, localization, and performance—bringing bundle sizes down from ~7MB to 200KB.
Built and maintained a few open-source extensions for Flarum, including PWA support, Firebase notifications, and integrations with Linear and Trello.
On the commercial side, worked directly with clients to build custom extensions and tailored Flarum builds for their communities.
Built the project from the ground up. Since Sidedoor is a bootstrapped company, we had to stay lean and focus on shipping features that directly supported profitability.
Worked a lot on the localization of the Statamic core.
On the client-facing work, focused on performance and caching, especially for projects migrating to Laravel from other frameworks.
This one was a lot of fun.
Led the team to prototype anything the marketing department pitched— AR news, 3D cinema seat previews, rescue drones, post-natal heartbeat research, and weather-aware billboards.
Led the development team building APIs for enterprise ERP clients.
Built custom multi-tenancy tools in Laravel to support a range of business and legal requirements—including clients running on self-hosted databases, our own infrastructure, and managed PaaS setups.
Researched and developed custom connectors for various ERP systems, writing our own SOAP client to handle novel authentication setups.
